a 5 star holiday.
Beautiful holiday home, roomy and set in an ideal =natural setting.
The birdsong every morning, the deer and the excellent Danish people, who even in a small place like Gorlev, speak a little English, and the younger generation speak quite a bit.
From the holiday home it is a short walk to the sea, which is clean, clear if a little cold.
I recommend the short drive to Ubby, to see the Barrow of an earlier king, which the Germans opened during their occupation, and the bones of which now lie in an unknown museum in Berlin.
Other Barrows can be found nearby.
There is a lovey small church in Buerup, which is well worth a visit, carry on to round to Kattrup, where on the way you will see the very large freshwater lake Tisso, Just a little further on you will find a stone commemorating the !940 - 1945 occupation, and finally at Kattrup you can view from the roadside the mansion of the richest man in Denmark, Mr Maersk.
Just a little further round the same road, you will see the restaurant of Musselle Mro. Very good meal, if a little expensive.
